"I've had lower back pain for years. After 1 week on the TrueSleep topper, I got out of bed without wincing. Thank you!""

What Makes TrueSleep Unique?

TrueSleep is 100% bamboo viscose, OEKO-TEX certified. Every topper is independently tested against 100+ harmful substances including VOCs, flame retardants, and synthetic chemicals. No claims. Verified proof.

4 inches of pressure-relief, proven to work from night one. Our 4-inch bamboo topper distributes body weight evenly across every contact point, so your back, hips, and shoulders decompress while you sleep instead of spending 8 hours under load.

No need to replace your mattress. TrueSleep goes on top of what you already have. No new mattress. No $3,000 gamble. Just the layer your body was missing, installed in minutes.

Setup & Care

Unbox
Remove your topper from the packaging. No sharp objects, the bamboo cover is worth protecting.

Shake & Pat
Give it a good shake to loosen the fibers, then pat the surface evenly with your hands.

Fluff It Up
Place the topper in a large-capacity dryer on low heat for 10–15 minutes with a couple of dryer balls or clean tennis balls inside. Remove, shake once more, then lay flat in a ventilated area for 4 hours to settle.

You're Ready
Put it on your mattress and sleep.

How The TrueSleep Bamboo Topper Ends Your Chronic Pain Cycle

When you live with chronic pain, your mattress is not neutral. Every hour you spend pressing into a synthetic surface that has no soft layer to absorb your weight, the pressure on your joints builds. By morning it has been building for 8 hours straight.

The TrueSleep Bamboo Topper adds a 4-inch layer of 100% bamboo viscose between your body and your mattress. Soft enough to let your hips, shoulders, and lower back finally decompress. Firm enough to keep your spine supported underneath.

Frequently Asked Questions

My mattress is the problem. Can a topper fix it?

Your body never touches your mattress. It touches the top few inches of it — and that layer decides where the pressure lands.

  • The contact layer is the problem. Not the slab underneath. Your hips, shoulders and lower back bear concentrated pressure for eight hours against a surface with nothing soft between.
  • TrueSleep replaces that layer. Four inches of bamboo viscose that gives way under your heavy points instead of pushing back at them.
  • The mattress keeps its job. It holds you up. We change the only part that was hurting you.

Which is why this costs under a hundred dollars instead of two thousand. You are not replacing the bed. You are replacing the layer.

My last topper went flat in months.

Because what you bought was almost certainly a slab of open-cell foam, and foam has exactly one job: to be compressed.

  • Foam loses air and never gets it back. Every night it gives up a little of what made it thick. By month three you are sleeping in the shape of your own body.
  • Ours is quilted, not poured. The bamboo viscose fill is locked into individual boxes, so it cannot migrate to the sides and leave you in a trench.
  • It springs back. Press it with your whole hand, lift, and there is no hollow left behind.

That is not a marketing claim. It is the first thing you can test, ten seconds after you open the box.

Why $99 when others sell them for $40?

Because of the one thing nobody in this category puts on the page: how much fibre is actually inside.

  • A $40 topper is mostly cover. A thin shell with a whisper of fill. It feels wonderful in the first week and it is flat by Christmas.
  • Density is what lasts. Fibre per square metre is what resists your weight night after night — not the number of inches printed on the box.
  • You can check this yourself. Put both products on a bathroom scale.

That single number will tell you more than every product page you read tonight.

Isn't "bamboo" just polyester with a nicer name?

Fair suspicion, and mostly justified. Here is the honest technical answer.

  • This is viscose made from bamboo. Bamboo cellulose spun into fibre. Anyone selling you "natural bamboo fabric" is selling you viscose too — the difference is how much of it you get and what it is blended with.
  • Read the fill line, not the product name. Several well-known bamboo toppers put the bamboo in the cover only, blended down with polyester, and stuff the inside with high-density polyester. The name says bamboo. The thing you sleep on is plastic.
  • OEKO-TEX certified. No flame retardants, no polyurethane slab.

Go and read three competitor pages before you decide. That is the fastest way to see what you are actually being sold.

I sleep hot. Will this trap heat?

Memory foam is a solid block that softens with your body heat, which is precisely why it holds on to it. There is no foam slab in this at all.

  • Moisture leaves. What wakes you at 3 a.m. is damp, not temperature. Bamboo viscose pulls that moisture off your skin and releases it into the room.
  • Air moves. The quilting leaves channels for warm air to escape through, which a solid slab simply does not have.
  • It regulates, it does not chill. So it will not leave you cold in January either.

I'm over 250 Lbs. Will I flatten it?

That is the right question, and it is a density question rather than a thickness one.

  • Thickness alone means nothing. A tall topper stuffed mostly with air compresses to nothing under load.
  • Fibre is what resists. Ours is held in quilted boxes so it cannot slide out from under your heavy points and leave you on the mattress.
  • One honest limit. If your mattress already has a dip you can see, no topper fixes that, whatever you weigh.

"Cooling" is a marketing word. What's real?

You are right. Nothing in your bed produces cold, and anyone claiming their fabric cools you is selling a sensation rather than a mechanism. Here is what actually happens.

  • Damp is what wakes you. You lose water every night. Trapped between your skin and the bed, it makes you swear the room is hot when it is 66°F.
  • Bamboo viscose moves that moisture. It is a smooth, highly absorbent fibre — it takes the moisture off your skin and hands it to the air.
  • The quilting lets heat out. Warm air has somewhere to go instead of pooling under your back.
  • Do not cover it with polyester. A microfibre sheet on top is a plastic film between you and everything above.

No refrigeration. Less damp, and a layer that breathes instead of sealing. That is the whole claim, and it is the only one we will make.

My back pain is medical. Bedding won't fix it.

Correct, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

  • This is bedding. Not a medical device. It does not treat anything, and if you have a diagnosed condition your doctor stays in charge of it.
  • What it does change is the surface your spine holds a position against for eight hours, every night.
  • The tell is the timing. If your back hurts most on waking and eases within the hour, a lot of that is posture under load rather than damage.

That part is a bedding problem — and it is the part we can do something about.

What if I hate it?

Then you send it back, and that is the end of it.

  • 100 nights. Sleep on it, wash it, live with it. One season is enough to know.
  • One email. No complicated process, no questions designed to make you give up.
  • No restocking fee, no inspection. Nobody is going to argue about whether you used it properly.

We would rather refund a few people than have anyone lying awake on something that is not helping them.

How long does shipping take?

  • Ships within 24 hours from our US warehouse.
  • Arrives in 3 to 6 business days anywhere in the USA, free.
  • Tracking by email as soon as your order leaves the warehouse.

4 inches makes more difference than I expected
Sounds like a small thing. It is not. That 4-inch bamboo layer is the difference between waking up and immediately feeling my lower back, and waking up and just getting up. The pressure distribution is noticeable from night one. My hips and spine feel like they actually rested instead of just endured.

    Sciatica had me dreading bedtime
I was staying up until 2am just to delay going to sleep. That is how bad the sciatica was. Every morning was the same cycle, wake up, pain, ice, try to sleep again. I had looked at new mattresses but everything decent was three or four thousand dollars. This was a fraction of that. First week was not perfect but I was sleeping longer between wake-ups. By week three the cycle had basically stopped.

No chemical smell. That was the first thing I noticed.
Every other topper I had tried came with that synthetic smell that takes days to go away. TrueSleep came out of the box and smelled like nothing. Because there is nothing in it that should smell. 100% bamboo viscose. That alone told me it was different. The back pain relief confirmed it.

    Tried four mattresses before this
Four mattresses over six years trying to fix morning back pain. The last one was over three thousand dollars. None of them did what TrueSleep does and TrueSleep is a fraction of the price. The 4-inch pressure relief layer is what all of those mattresses were missing. I did not need a new mattress. I needed what goes on top of one.

    Night one was different
Not a gradual thing. The first night on TrueSleep I noticed the pressure on my lower back was just gone. The bamboo layer is genuinely softer than anything I had tried before but it does not collapse under you. Hips, spine, shoulders all feel supported and cushioned at the same time. Sciatica that had been waking me up every two hours let me sleep through to morning.

OEKO-TEX was why I bought it
Had lower back pain every morning for two years. Tried this mostly out of frustration. The 2-inch bamboo layer is noticeably different from anything I had slept on before, softer but still supportive. Woke up on day four and got out of bed without thinking about my back. That had not happened in a long time.

My chiropractor told me to try a topper
Been seeing a chiropractor for lower back pain on and off for four years. He finally asked what I was sleeping on. Recommended I try a quality topper before my next adjustment. Got this one based on the reviews. Went back three weeks later and told him I had not needed ibuprofen once since. He was not surprised. I kind of was.

The bamboo stays cool all night
Hot sleeper for as long as I can remember. Always woke up with heat pooled under my lower back and hips. TrueSleep fixed both problems at once. The bamboo viscose wicks the heat away from the contact surface passively, no gadgets, no settings, just the material doing what it does. Sciatica pain is significantly reduced and I stopped overheating somewhere around night three.

The certification matters more than I thought
Bought TrueSleep for the back pain. Stayed for the OEKO-TEX certification. Once I started reading about what is in standard foam toppers, flame retardants, polyurethane, compounds that off-gas onto your skin all night, I realized I had been sleeping on a chemical problem for years. TrueSleep has none of that. Third party tested and verified. Back pain is gone and I actually know what I am sleeping on now.

    No new mattress needed
Kept being told I needed to replace my mattress to fix the back pain. Was looking at spending three to four thousand dollars and not feeling great about it. TrueSleep was recommended as a first step. Laid it on top of my existing mattress in two minutes. The bamboo surface changed everything. Pain is gone. Mattress is still the same. Saved myself an enormous amount of money.
